Overview
Constantinos H. Tokatlides has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2000 and has rights of audience before the Supreme Courts of Greece. His work combines litigation and legal counselling, with particular experience in EU law, commercial and financial law, employment law and administrative law.
His practice extends across all levels of Greek jurisdiction and includes matters before the Court of Justice of the European Union and the European Court of Human Rights. He also teaches and writes on EU law and has maintained a sustained professional and scholarly engagement with animal welfare law.

Academic work and publications
His academic work examines the protection of individuals under EU law, including retail depositors, retail investors and employees. He has taught English commercial law, international commercial law, company law, jurisprudence and legal theory on the University of London International LL.B. Programme, and previously taught EU law at the University of Athens Law School.

His work on animal protection combines litigation, advisory work and scholarship. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the online legal journal Law & Animals (Δίκαιο & Ζώα). In 2025, he was honoured by the Hellenic Ministry of the Interior for his contribution to the protection of animals.
